The Fasting: 1 day diet to lose 2 lbs and increase vitality.

People have fasted from Biblical times as accompaniment of the religious reflections. Experts recommend to realize fasting at least 1 day per month. The fasting is not recommended to people who have health problems as diabetes or hypertension.

Diet duration: 1 day to 3 days per month.
Weight loss: 2 lbs per day (up to 8 lbs in 3 days).

What to drink during Fasting?

During fasting, drink fruit juice (all that you want) or broth, tea and water. Fasting can be done with ingestion of fruit juices with water. Take a glass of water or juice whenever you feel hungry. You must consume at least 8-ounce glasses of liquid per day (2 quarts, 1.8 liters).

Many 1 day detox diet recommend to drink water to facilitate cleaning inside the body. But fruit juices have advantages in comparison with water: In addition of its detox power, fruit juices are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that can strengthen your reserves of nutrients.

All fasting should be initiated and concluded with a day eating raw food, the first day to prepare your system and the last as a bridge between fasting and your normal diet.

The day before the fasting: preparation of the body (Friday is ideally)

Begin the previous day of fasting with 2 slices of melon and 1 glass of orange juice. At mid-morning prepare a large varied selection of raw vegetables (like cucumber, tomato, celery, carrots, radish, pepper and parsley). Clean them carefully and eat them dressed with some droplets of olive oil. Accompany the vegetables with a glass of fruit juice. For dinner, prepare a mixed salad with lettuce, tomato, beet, onion, watercress and a large handful of finely cut fresh mint. Align the salad with lemon and olive oil. Drink also a large glass of fruit juice. Drink a lot of water, 8-ounce glasses of water per day (2 quarts, 1.8 liters), except during meals to start promoting the removal process.

Before the end of the fasting: take care of what you eat before starting again your normal diet.

Your first meal, after the fasting, must be a light food, as toasted bread or english bread with fresh cheese or yogurt, and a piece of fruit. You can also eat raw food. Eat slowly and chew carefully. Doing a sauna would be an ideally finish of the process of elimination of the toxins and will leave you beautifully cleaned both inside and outside.

Best day to fasting

The best day to Fasting is the day you have not planned any exercise and you have no mental stress, because your system will not be operating at full speed. The weekend is the ideal moment for fasting. You can start eating raw food the same Friday of the weekend of fasting.
