The Personality Type Diet is born of the lucky meeting between a psychologist and an expert nutritionist. The diet has an original proposal: lose weight eating food according to your personality. The personality type diet establishes 4 types of attitudes towards the food (aggressive, depressive, regressive and defensive).

Weight loss: up to 5 lbs per week.
Diet duration: unlimited.

Diet recommended for any healthy person, except persons with anemia, kids, pregnant women and people under continuing medical treatment. Follow the diet religiously, drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

AGGRESSIVE PERSONALITY=CARNIVOROUS PERSONS

They love red meat, meat with powerful flavor and intense smell, spicy food and stimulant substances as coffee or tobacco. Also, they get lost for food that rattle because chew is for them a way of liberating tensions.

In the aggressive menu, veal meat or chicken cannot be absent. Also it's necessary to include creaking food as bread, fennel, carrot, cauliflower and strong cheeses.

Personality type diet menu: Aggressive
Breakfast: tea with lemon and 2 toasts of bread.
Mid-morning: natural yogurt with 1 spoonful of toasted bran.
Lunch: pasta or rice with tomato and sheep cheese, cauliflowers with olive oil.

The depressive persons eat with compulsive form and without preferences. Eating is a kind of distraction when they are alone, sad or boring. They assault the refrigerator in an attempt of filling his interior gap.

The diet of the depressive person doesn't need a lot of making. It's recommended to keep in the refrigerator some vegetables ready to eat (cleaned and cut) for accompanied salads, pasta or cooked rice. To start a menu, this personality must eat green salad with wide sheet or pasta to satisfy quickly his hunger eyes.

Breakfast: coffee with milk and crackers.
Mid-morning: strawberries with lemon juice.
Lunch: vegetable with lemon or vinegar, grilled chicken breast, and 1 spoon of olive oil.
Snack: grapefruit juice.
Dinner: vegetable soup with rice, boiled spinach, and 1 spoon of olive oil.

REGRESSIVE PERSONALITY=EAT TO FORGET PROBLEMS

The regressive persons are the eternal adolescent worried by problems and insomnia, to which eating help them to calm return and keep peace in mind. They love sugar in all its forms. Sweets and chocolate has to be present in their diet, but always under control.

Breakfast: coffee with skimmed milk, and 2 crackers with 1 spoonful of honey.
Mid-morning: yogurt natural.
LUNCH: rice cooked with sugar, olive oil, aromatic herbs, and steamed carrots.
Snack: yogurt natural with pieces of seasonal fresh fruit, bananas, figs, grapes and dry fruits.
Dinner: Cottage cheese, crackers, cooked fennel with 1 spoon of olive oil, and 1 seasonal fruit.

DEFENSIVE PERSONALITY=BE CAREFUL WITH OVERWEIGHT

The defensive persons use to be a candidate for the excess of weight. Food is for their eyes a way of sticking to the ground and support responsibilities that the world demands them. When they eat, they feel that their batteries are recharged that's why makes them less vulnerable. In their imaginary, the fat turns into a species of protective shield.

People with this personality need a diet with food rich in energy like carbohydrates (bread, pasta, vegetables, rice and potatoes). It's important to remember them that fruit and vegetables, especially raw or cooked, are a source of vitamins and minerals.

Breakfast: coffee with sweetener and skimmed milk, and cereals.
Mid-morning: mixed fruit salad with apple and kiwi.
Lunch: pasta with tomato and basil; salad with green vegetables, tomato and olive oil.

Dinner: cooked eggplants, 1 spoon of olive oil, or baked fennel.
